Nella scheda Video premi Importa Video e scegli il file, oppure trascinalo dentro. Il filmato resta dov'è sul tuo disco: VDM se ne ricorda il percorso, non ne fa una copia.

In the Video tab press Import Video and pick the file, or drag it in. The film stays where it is on your disk: VDM remembers the path, it does not copy it.

Metti il video sul punto giusto e premi il tasto della giocata nelle colonne Attacco o Difesa. Il pezzo si crea intorno a quel momento e lo puoi accorciare con Inizio e Fine.

Move the video to the right spot and press the play button in the Offence or Defence column. The clip is created around that moment and you can trim it with Start and End.

Prendono gli ultimi tre secondi: servono quando la giocata è già successa e non vuoi tornare indietro a cercarla.

They grab the last three seconds: for when the play has already happened and you don't want to rewind.

L'hai spostato o rinominato. Premi Ritrova il file e indicalo, oppure Indica la cartella delle partite e li ritrova tutti in un colpo. I tag e i ritagli non si perdono: sono attaccati alla clip, non al file.

You moved or renamed it. Press Find the file and point to it, or Set the games folder and it finds them all at once. Tags and cuts are not lost: they belong to the clip, not the file.

Il montaggio prende solo quello che è flaggato, e i cancelli sono due: la bandierina sul gioco nella lista, e la bandierina su ogni clip dentro la sua scheda (o il tasto «Flagga tutti»). Se manca uno dei due non c'è niente da mettere in fila. Il motivo te lo scrive in giallo, in basso a destra.

The reel takes only what is flagged, and there are two gates: the flag on the play in the list, and the flag on each clip inside its card (or the «Flag all» button). If either is missing there is nothing to line up. The reason appears in yellow, bottom right.

They are four moments of one action. Draw the first and the rest inherit what came before: you don't redraw the same five players five times.

Segue la logica del gioco: se nel campo 2 disegni un passaggio da 1 a 4, nel campo 3 la palla è già in mano alla 4. Se la sposti a mano, quella scelta resta e non viene più sovrascritta.

It follows the logic: draw a pass from 1 to 4 in court 2 and in court 3 the ball is already in 4's hands. Move it by hand and your choice stays.

The text shrinks itself to stay inside the box. If it still doesn't fit, a red ⋯ appears: that's the sign something is being left out and you should shorten it.

Sì, se l'hai salvato in archivio. Scouting report, personnel e playbook hanno ognuno il proprio: li riapri, li modifichi, li riporti sul foglio di lavoro o li copi su un'altra squadra.

Yes, if you saved it to the archive. Scouting reports, personnel and playbooks each have one: reopen, edit, put back on the working sheet or copy to another team.

Una cartella che vediate tutti: una cartella di rete, un disco condiviso, o una cartella sincronizzata. Ognuno apre VDM, sceglie la stessa cartella e scrive il proprio nome. Il nome è importante: se restate tutti «Coach» le presenze si sovrascrivono.

A folder you all see: a network folder, a shared disk, or a synced folder. Each opens VDM, picks the same folder and writes their own name. The name matters: if you all stay «Coach» the presences overwrite each other.

Sì. Su una rete locale il passaggio è immediato e l'automatico ogni dieci secondi va benissimo. Su una cartella sincronizzata (Drive, iCloud, Dropbox) ci mettono da qualche secondo a qualche minuto: lì conviene spegnere l'automatico e usare i due tasti a mano. Se la rete cade non si perde niente, ma non arriva niente finché non torna.

Yes. On a local network the handover is instant and the ten-second automatic is fine. In a synced folder (Drive, iCloud, Dropbox) it takes seconds to minutes: there it's better to turn the automatic off and use the two manual buttons. If the network drops nothing is lost, but nothing arrives until it returns.

Meglio di no. Scambiatevi tag, clip ritagliate e montaggi: pesano poco e viaggiano subito. Una partita intera è qualche gigabyte, intasa la cartella e blocca tutti per mezz'ora. Il filmato grosso mettilo in comune solo quando serve davvero a qualcuno.

Better not. Exchange tags, cut clips and reels: they weigh little and travel at once. A whole game is several gigabytes, it clogs the folder and holds everyone up. Share the big film only when someone really needs it.

Le squadre che stai guardando in quel momento restano tue e nessuno te le sovrascrive. Una casella vuota che arriva non cancella mai una casella piena, e se due mettono squadre diverse nella stessa casella restano tutte e due. L'ultimo aggiornamento ricevuto si annulla con un clic.

The teams you are looking at stay yours and nobody overwrites them. An empty slot arriving never deletes a full one, and if two of you put different teams in the same slot, both are kept. The last update received can be undone with one click.

Esporta ogni tanto tutto il lavoro in un file e tienilo su un disco esterno o in una cartella sincronizzata. Lo stesso file serve per portare il lavoro su un altro computer.

Export all your work to a file now and then and keep it on an external disk or a synced folder. The same file moves your work to another computer.
